No. This work is not psychotherapy or mental health treatment.
However, many people find breathwork and somatic practices to be powerful complements to therapy. This work focuses on the body, breath, and nervous system and is designed to support emotional processing, awareness, and reconnection to self.
If you are currently working with a therapist, this work can often exist alongside that support.

Breathwork can be a very powerful and supportive tool for people who have experienced trauma when it is approached in a paced, consent-based, and body-aware way.
Trauma is not only held in our thoughts and memories. It is often held in the body and nervous system. Breathwork can help create safe access points for releasing stored stress, emotion, and survival patterns while supporting reconnection to the body and a sense of internal safety.
In this work, nothing is forced and intensity is never the goal. You are always in control of your experience. We move at the pace your nervous system can safely integrate, and you are always able to slow down, adjust, or pause at any time.
Many people find breathwork to be a deeply supportive complement to therapy and other healing modalities because it allows the body to process what words alone sometimes cannot. Many clients also come to this work after doing talk therapy and are looking for a way to include the body in their healing process.
If you have specific concerns, diagnoses, or trauma history you would like to discuss before booking, you are always welcome to reach out so we can talk about what feels safest and most supportive for you.
